British American Tobacco, one of the world's leading tobacco company, has recently completed the process of taking over TDR.
The contract that the CEO of TDR and representatives of British American Tobacco signed on May 30 is now fully realized.
By taking over TDR, BAT will strengthen its presence in this part of Europe. The experience and knowledge of TDR experts, regionaly recognizable TDR brands as well as one of the technologically most modern factories in the region will certainly contribute to BAT’s intension.
As stated in the sales contract, BAT, along with TDR, took over companies in the Adris tobacco strategic business unit - Istragrafika, Croatian tobacco, retailers iNovine and Opreso, and a share in Tisak. The transaction, after deducting TDR obligations was 505 million euros.
